Question:
In the normalization part of the software, the curves in the right panel are very flat, with peaks almost invisible. Can I change this?
Answer:
The densitometric curves in the right panel are not rescaled. This means that the total intensity range available to the gel is used as scale. Weak lanes may then show up as low and poorly profiled. The solution is to scale every lane individually. This can be done with Edit > Rescale curves in the gel processing window.
