Obtaining fragment lengths

Before you can obtain band sizes of marked bands, you will have to establish a calibration curve. This is done in the Fingerprint type window where you can click Settings > Edit reference system for the selected reference system. If you entered for the names of the reference positions their molecular weights or fragment sizes, then you can create the regression with a single command Metrics > Copy markers from reference system. If not, you will have to add the size markers manually with Edit > Add marker. The type of regression can be selected.
