Question:
In the main window of BioNumerics (GelCompar II), the names of the Key database fields are not visible.
Answer:
The procedure depends on which BioNumerics or GelCompar II version you are using:
- In version 4.6 or lower, right-click on "Key" and select Set database field length. Enter "80".
- In version 5.0 or higher, individual fields can be displayed or hidden from view. Click on the column properties button rightmost in the header of the Database entries panel (
) and from the menu that pops up, select Set active field.... Make sure the check box for the Key field is checked.
