While installing the HIV resistance plugin, I received following error message: "Problem while downloading algorithm XML file: http://sierra2.stanford.edu/sierra/xml/HIVB_max.xml. Error message: HTTP Error 404: Not Found."
Answer:
You get this error message because Stanford HIVDB has changed the location for the HIV algorithms. Instead of http://sierra2.stanford.edu/sierra/xml/, it is now http://hivdb.stanford.edu/DR/xml/. The url can be changed in the dialog box where the algorithms can be downloaded.
