Question:
It would be very useful to be able to correct sequences in a multiple alignment. Is this possible in BioNumerics?
Answer:
Yes, by double-clicking and editing the sequence in the experiment card. To actually save the changed sequences to the database, you will have to select Sequence > Save changed sequences. If you want to undo any changes you have made to a sequence in a multiple alignment, call Sequence > Reload sequence from disk. This doesn't work anymore once the changed sequences are saved to the disk.
