Question:
In the old GelCompar software, I could choose to display the patterns as reconstructed images rather than TIFF gel strips. How can I do this in BioNumerics or GelCompar II?
Answer:
BioNumerics and GelCompar II also allow you to display the patterns as images reconstructed from the densitometric curves. To do so, you should open the Fingerprint type window (in the Experiments panel), and select Settings > Show curves as images. In the Comparison window, you should select Layout > Show densitometric curves instead of Show images.
